About us

Real competition, from anywhere

Online Horse Competition is an international equestrian competition platform. Riders film their performance at home; qualified judges score it against published criteria; results, certificates, rankings and rosettes follow — exactly as they would at a physical show.

The platform was founded on a simple observation: the barrier to competing is rarely the riding. It is the lorry, the fuel, the entry-day logistics, the distance to the nearest affiliated venue. Horses that travel badly, riders without transport, and entire regions without a show calendar are excluded from sport they are otherwise ready for.

Our first event, The Founding Online Horse Show, brings together photography, groundwork, in-hand and ridden classes in a single international schedule — judged to published standards, with welfare and media integrity enforced throughout.

Everything about how a class is judged is published before you enter: the criteria, the weightings, the tie-breaks, the filming requirements. If a decision goes against you, there is a formal review process. We would rather be held to a visible standard than ask for trust we haven't earned.

Open to everyone

Geography, transport and show-day costs keep countless riders out of competition. Online entry removes the travel, not the standard — the same test, the same criteria, the same judge's eye.

Transparent by design

Every class publishes its scoring criteria, weightings, tie-breaks and rules before entries open. Results are reviewed and published as a complete set, never piecemeal, and amendments are recorded.

Welfare before placings

Entries showing unsafe practice, harsh equipment or evident distress are rejected. Our welfare requirements are published and enforced on every class, not treated as fine print.

Real media, honestly judged

Submissions must be genuine, continuous and unedited beyond basic correction. AI-generated or manipulated media is prohibited, and every competitor signs a declaration before submitting.
