Apply to join the founding judging panel

Every class is judged by a named judge against published criteria. We are appointing the founding panel now, ahead of the first show.

What we ask of our judges

Relevant qualifications or experience. Governing-body judging qualifications, professional instruction, or a substantial competition record in the discipline you wish to judge.
Judging to the published criteria. Each class publishes its criteria and weightings before entries open. Judges score to those criteria and give written feedback on every sheet.
Independence. Judges cannot judge a class they have entered, and cannot be assigned to their own entries.
Welfare first. Judges are asked to flag any welfare or safety concern in a submission, regardless of the score.
Timeliness. Scoring is done online at a time that suits you, within the published judging window.
